This Vor-Tech� fabric is a 3 layered laminated fabric with a soft-shell outer and mesh lining, laminated to the micro-porous Vor-Tech� membrane. The layering construction serves two purposes: it protects the Vor-Tech� membrane from abrasion and wear and dissipates body moisture over a large area. The micro-porous membrane has two features: it allows perspiration to escape through the pores in the membrane without allowing water in, and also acts as a wind breaker.
